‘Halee’
Officer Hale of the AZ Dept of Agriculture had received reports of an abandoned and undernourished horse in South Phoenix. The mare was underweight, had a swollen back left leg, had several wounds and her feet were in bad shape.
After staying the required 10 days in the custody of Livestock, she was released to us in January of 2013.
Halee is doing well in a small herd of three. She is an older mare and will not pick up her feet, but she loves attention from people and loves being groomed.
